Nya · An emerging, founder-led studio
Intelligence is abundant.
Coherence is scarce.
Building the products and practices for a more adaptive, human, agentic future of work.
Nya is my independent studio for thinking, tinkering, and occasionally embedding in organisations to explore how people, agents, and systems can work better together.
01 / The shift
More capability. A different constraint.
Small teams can now access intelligence and build software in ways that once needed whole departments. That changes what is possible. It also exposes a different constraint: the ability to turn capability into coherent, meaningful outcomes.
Intelligence is abundant. Coherence is scarce. That is a working thesis behind Nya, and a question to keep testing in practice.
02 / The messy middle
Mandate exists. Momentum doesn’t.
Organisations can have executive mandate, budget, technology, and active experiments, while the everyday work barely changes. A strategy sits apart from delivery. Teams test tools without a shared direction. Decisions, incentives, and ways of working pull against the ambition.
This is where I want Nya to work: close enough to the problem to understand it, and able to move between strategy, people, and practical building.
03 / Two expressions
Products and deployment
Products
Making better ways of working tangible.
Tools, software, agents, and practices that help people think, decide, and work together. Some begin as small experiments. Some may become ventures. Others may stay useful artefacts. Soul, systems, and software.
Deployment
Working where ambition meets reality.
Selective, high-touch work as a forward-deployed strategist-builder: understanding the context, finding the constraint, designing an intervention, building with the team, and helping it become part of actual work.
This is the model I’m developing. Nya is a founder-led initiative, and the products and practices are still taking shape.
04 / How I practise
Think. Tinker. Embed.
Think
Independent research, writing, and sensemaking. Developing useful questions, frameworks, and perspectives on intelligence, organisations, and human agency.
Tinker
Making ideas tangible through prototypes, AI agents, software, tools, and other experiments. Building something can be a way to understand a question before knowing whether it has a business model.
Embed
Working deeply with a small number of organisations. Bringing thinking and making into contact with real constraints, incentives, relationships, and consequences.
Most of the current work is thinking and tinkering. Embedded work is deliberately selective.
05 / The learning loop
Reality keeps the work honest.
Questions, prototypes, and fieldwork feed one another. An experiment may send me back to the question. A real constraint may change the product.

06 / Current explorations
Taking shape within Nya
Waris
Exploring the gap between what we intend for the people we love and what our estate arrangements actually deliver.
Duyên
An experiment in building adaptive innovation systems for teams of humans and AI agents.
These are individual venture explorations. Each has its own problem, people, and path.
07 / Collaboration
Working on something that matters?
I’m interested in a small number of collaborations where the challenge is meaningful, the context is complex, and there is room to think and build together.
